WELCOME TO THE LIFE OF
HALEY LENN KINMAN
I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE
My name is Haley Lenn Kinman. I am a full time wedding/couples photographer based in West Monroe, Louisiana. I am 25 years old, although most people mistake me for 16 lol. This is my fourth year in photography, and I feel like the most blessed person alive to be able to do what I love for a living. The most important people in my life, as you’ll noticed when you look at the names of all of my packages, are my brother Dillon, mom Shari, dad Johnny, my soulmate dog Nola, and our family dog who recently passed Briley.
I love love love to travel, so hit us up no matter where you’re located, and I will jump on a plane to you in no time. I am a HUGE animal lover, specifically dogs. I like more creamer in my cup than coffee, and I basically only listen to The 1975. My house is covered in succulents, and when I’m not photographing or editing you can catch me reading, watching Love Island, at the gym, eating Chinese food, or playing Clue with my friends. I love throwing parties and celebrating with the people I love, and I can’t wait to celebrate your special moment with you.
My Photography Story…
I call myself a quarantine photographer, because I started looking into photography and bought my first camera in the midst of 2020. I always loved taking pictures, but never really looked into it as a career choice. I went to the University of Louisiana at Monroe from 2016-2019, graduating with my Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and my Bachelors degree in Health Management and Marketing. I started my first job as an occupational therapy assistant in the summer of 2020, right before I bought my first camera in October of 2020. I booked my first photo session in November, a SURPRISE PROPOSAL might I add, talk about STRESSED, and I was hooked after that.
I kept doing photography on the side little by little, falling more in love with it and less in love with my degree, but I had worked so hard to get it so I kept photography on the back burner. West Monroe, LA is not a huge city, and I started taking pictures for my church, so word got around, I started posting my work on social media, and I started booking more and more clients. In July of 2022, after switching occupational therapy jobs several times and not finding satisfaction, I decided that if I went all in on photography and really put everything I had into it, I could make it my full time job. So I did.
My mom sat down and helped me create my website, because me and technology do not always get along. I started doing some free, styled shoots to create a better portfolio, started posting more, and with the blessings of the Lord, I have been able to create a business for myself. My fun hobby that I had a great passion for quickly manifested itself into a dream I could have never imagined. Thank you so much to everyone who ever believed in me, hired me, or supported me and to those that will in the future.
